Is the title official?

In context of how the movie will be called by the fans in relation to other Star Trek productions it will probably be called either Star Trek 11 or Star Trek 2009. So in 2015 when were here arguing about some plot point in this movie we may say ST11 or ST2009 or something like that.

In a small way it reminds me of how people were wondering how we would refer to this decade in t =he future, the next decade is the teens and then the twenties, in the 1900's (to 10) some people reffered to the decade as the auwts (sp?).

"Ought" (as in ".30-06" or "Gary Conservatory, Gold-Medal Class of Ought-Five") sometimes also spelled "aught". Doesn't seem to be catching on this time around, though, but it may be too soon to tell.

Well, that's cool with me. No "Star Trex XI: The Clarinet of Spock" necessary. Sounds about as close to official as it can get, I guess.

I will so totally boycott this move if it features Spock's clarinet. I'll also boycott it if they don't acknowledge that his clarinet exists.

I heard he actually has a forked 'clarinet'.
