Is "The Sky is the Limit" good ?

I have seen "The Shy is the Limit" in bookstore. As I understand it is a short story analogy about TNG crew. Is it good ? ( usually I do not hold unrelated short story format in high regard but I liked "Tales of the Dominion War" very much )

It is quite a good book. It shows different time periods of the TNG universe. Some very good stories in there.

It wasn't bad but it seemed to take a long time for me to read it. I can usually get through a book in two days but this took about a week. I thought it was just a bit on the boring side.

No, no, what really happened is you were savoring it. ;)

I am still reading it. Up to Christopher's story but I liked the story that showed how Picard got command of Enterprise.

I enjoyed it. My only problem with it, is the stories were too short. Of course, with them being short stories and all, I guess that's the point. ;)

Marco was kind enough to let me run a couple thousand words long . . . it would have been painful to try to cut the story down to 10,000. In the end, my story was almost twice as long as an SNW story; those had a 7,500 word limit. It was fun to have all that breathing room. :D

I'm only on Acts of Compassion, but if that and Meet With Triumph And Disaster are any indication, then it is, to quote Scott Pearson, a "pretty damn fine" entry into the Trek Lit Universe.

There you go! :D

I am reading it right now. So far I am very impressed with "Suicide Note" and "Four Lights" stories. Suicide Note closes down plot of one of my favorite storylines "The Defector".

^^^
Thanks very much, Can. I'm glad it provided some satisfying closure for you.
