the more important Q is wat film will b better? its gotta b trek. iv got a lotta faith in abrams and i reckon Wolverine might turn out to b pretty sh*t. id rather wait til Bryan Singer is available to do a 4th X-Men

Hopefully, a well advertised Trek will overtake Wolverine, but I'm going to say it's too early to call with about a year left to the premiers.
Wolverine will do much better. Teenagers won't be embarassed to go to see Wolverine. Like it or not, Star Trek today still has a negative reputation for being nerdy and trekkies for being geeky. I doubt the new trek movie will do well among people who never were into star trek before because the average teenager (the target audience) won't want to go see a nerdy movie
plus in addition to thinking it's nerdy, when people who haven't seen star trek before think of trek, they think of cheesy 60s special effects.

Too early to tell. Haven't seen any real footage from either movie yet. This is better discussed once trailers for both films are available.
