Is the bridge at a funny angle?

Ah yes, here.
Then it all matches and makes sense: It is at an intermediate angle.
The centerline is not labeled, so it doesn't have to mean centerline of ship; it could simply mean centerline of bridge.

As @BK613 pointed out upthread, there's more than a passing resemblance between the bridge figure and the rendering of the bridge within the STAGE 9 diagram also reproduced in The Making of Star Trek. In particular, both have the same unlabeled centerline. There is no position of the ship relative to stage 9, so interpreting the centerline on the bridge in that figure as indicative of its orientation in relation to the ship would be absurd. Ergo, the premise that it's relevant to just the bridge set itself is more than tenable. And, being the case there, why not likewise in the other figure? It's unlabeled, after all.

So, freed of circular reasoning, the centerline on the bridge figure proves nothing. A label for it could speak volumes, but it's not there.

P.S. There are multiple centerlines in the STAGE 9 figure, three at least overall that I can see, and they sure aren't parallel. There's also the arc down the main corridor indicating its center.

When I referred to the area under the Emergency Manual Monitor, I meant I thought this was the location of the Environmental area shown in "Wink of an Eye." It even makes sense for it to be there (under the Emergency Manual Monitor) on the real ship, since the yellow ladder is labeled for environmental engineering and Chekov calls the Emergency Manual Monitor "Life Support" while onboard the Defiant NCC-1764.
I understand what you meant now. However, the "Life Support" room in WOAN is most definitely a redress of the Briefing Room - that blue carpet and extra-wide door alcove are a dead giveaway.

EDIT:

WOAN should have been WOAE (Wink of an Eye) but after @Maurice 's comment I couldn't bring myself to correct the error

...Team Carousel - ?

Really, if the bridge is a module, and it's screwed on with the precision and care shown in screwing on the bridge consoles or command chair pedestals, our question really should be "Uh, which day?".

I mean, I'm interested. Will a stentorious proclamation that the bridge is either straight or offset change my life? No. Not really. But I'm still here. And I still like it sinking into Deck Two.
