All this talk of the Adversary is making me wish there was a Fables series. But I digress.
This is purely a "behind the camera" speculation. I know that the introduction of the Adversary is a nice twist to the show, but one wonders that, with the real death of Locke and the Adversary assuming his form, the TPTB may use this as a way to keep the cast in line if someone wants a higher paycheck or gets caught with a DUI?
Cast member: My agent thinks I'm worth more than what I'm getting and I agree.
Producers: I see. Well tell your agent that your character is now the Adversary and you've been swallowed up by a Dharma shark, okay?
Cast member: Uh, forget what I said before. Have a nice day.
Producers: Oh, and drink responsibly, potential Adversary.
Perhaps its just Hollywood paranoia, but it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility.
