Was watching Family Guy the other day, and saw a commercial for Skittles featuring a giant guy in a tube sock. On the couch is a couple of old people. The lady is actress Barbara Singer. But is that guy Warren Stevens who played Rojan in "By Any Other Name" (not to mention Doc Ostrow in Forbidden Planet)?

That looks nothing like him, IMO....
Sure, it does. If you take into account his age (90). Here's a picture of him from five years ago, and it certainly seems reasonable that it might be him in the commercial.
