Is Scotty's accent actually bad?

The answer, as I supply every few pages in this thread, is - no, it is not bad, not to anyone who knows actual Scottish people. Check out any interview with Ewan McGregor or watch any episode of the (excellent) mystery series Shetland to get a sense of Scots performers and their accents.

If Pegg had had went full Glasgow then i doubt anyone outside Glasgow would have understood him, as this comedy parody of 70s Scottish drama shows, and yes, this is comedy. Lol
