do you not know what it means when I write "on a separate note" ?So you don’t know what a Mary Sue even is? You’re just calling her that because others do as well, but it’s a complete misunderstanding of the term. Maybe you shouldn’t base your opinion on what others thought and were wrong about.
I saw it, that has nothing to do with a Mary Sue either. Just your subjective opinion that you’ve repeated for years as if it holds some authority outside your head.do you not know what it means when I write "on a separate note" ?
She has and she isn't.It would be nice if someday she lost a lightsaber battle, got wounded, or wasn't automatically better than everyone at everything.
Precisely so, though I suspect many know this. She has and she isn't.

yes. Agreed. Also it would be nice if anything really drove her character. if she had more than "i do the right thing" as her background. If she had some kind of character flaw. Also training. Also some kind of reason it's her.It would be nice if someday she lost a lightsaber battle, got wounded, or wasn't automatically better than everyone at everything.
no i just believe she is a mary sue. But I've just stopped writing the same points over and over again.
you are so cool. Like Fonzie.Probably a good idea.
not even one page after I was (unfairly) warned for bringing up how asinine it was to believe RJ's trilogy was still happening because (rightly so) it was unrelated to Mary Sues, this guy starts talking about something I was talking about with.. marvel.I'm always impressed (or is it depressed?) by FSM's ability to take 100 long-winded, nonsensical, poorly spelled, faux deep, and undeservedly condescending posts to say that casting anyone else besides a straight white male in the lead of a genre film is "agenda-driven political correctness" or makes them a "Mary Sue" even if the character goes through a similar hero's journey and growth as their straight white male predecessors.
If anyone would like a preview of the next twenty pages of his responses, read his posts in this thread from a couple months ago, which is pretty much the same argument just with less "Mary Sueing":

All his greatest hits are there, including the classic "It would be nice if you actually read my posts" because if we disagree with him it's just because he's too intellectual for us common folk to understand his thought process.
You called one poster an "idiot" and then called someone else "dence" (your spelling). On what grounds are you asserting that you were unfairly warned by the mod? That's about as clear-cut an example of flaming as you can get. My criticisms were of the content, history, and style of your posts, which is permitted. You're also not supposed to be arguing the merits of your warning in the thread but via PM with the mod in question.not even one page after I was (unfairly) warned for bringing up how asinine it was to believe RJ's trilogy was still happening because (rightly so) it was unrelated to Mary Sues, this guy starts talking about something I was talking about with.. marvel.
And I get warned...
never said I was unfairly warned.. i just mentioned that bringing up what I wrote in a marvel thread has nothing to do with thisYou called one poster an "idiot" and then called someone else "dence" (your spelling). You literally said you were unfairly warned in the first line of your post. I quoted it above and it's still in your original post. Then you said "And I was warned" to end your post, reiterating that you felt your warning was unfair. Jesus.never said I was unfairly warned.. i just mentioned that bringing up what I wrote in a marvel thread has nothing to do with this
You didn't get warned for bringing up Rian Johnson's trilogy. Why on Earth would you even think that? You got warned for calling someone an idiot and dense. Am I being Punk'd right now? This is a really simple concept. Do I need to draw a diagram for you or something?i will clarify (sorry I just woke up). I don't think them warning me for bringing up RJ's trilogy was fair. my opinion. But I can understand why they would do it. Soi I can say it was fair - or unfair.. whatever. I guess I mean I can understand why I was warned.. which is better than nothing.. I just don't agree with it.

A little?
I mean, most people who call her a Mary Sue mean it as "She is a woman who is competent and I don't like that", so definitely not in that way.
But, she did intuit over the course of a few seconds how to use the Force to plant a suggestion in somebody's mind. She's figuring out things in seconds things that are supposed to take Jedi years to learn. She's also fawned over by Finn, Han, Chewbacca and every droid. So in that sense, she is a little bit of a Mary Sue in the way Wesley is.
