So much potential...IIRC, there was an official effort to knit the two together in a similar fashion during one of the failed attempts at a feature film revival

I like the idea that every iteration of BSG that has ever existed, or ever WILL exist (assuming any of the further reboots ever take hold), takes place in a single universe.
