Is North Korea a real place?

Thing is if you invented N Korea people would say it was too ridiculous. If only half of what we hear is true it sounds like a truly horrendous place to live unless you're a high ranking party official, or related to one...although even then that's no guarantee of safety given what happened a few months ago.

Having gone to Korea with the Air Force and having been to the DMV. I've looked across to North Korea and I can with a 100% authority say this, it is a real place.

I still have flashbacks from when I was trapped behind the lines in the DMV. The State just treated us like a number, and forced us to march back and forth endlessly under the watchful gaze of our heartless minders in their enclosed stations. It was dehumanizing. I tried to escape in a car, but I only got as far as the 38th parallel park before the evil taskmaster running things prevented me from passing and forced me to return to that hellhole, utterly defeated. I wasn't able to get my identity papers and finally be free until years later, but by then, I was no longer an eager teenage boy, I was a broken man.

I heard somewhere that KJU won his election with 100% of the vote, with 100% turnout. I had to double check to be sure it wasn't Chicago.

Seriously though, there's nothing funny about what goes on in North Korea.

Chicago's a place where the dead can vote. We can do better than 100% turnout.

I wish it wasn't a real place. Generations of people have suffered and died in that horrid little country. Someday, someday, North Korea will be free. I hope to see that day.

No it's just like Latveria or Berzerkistan, made up to provide us some cartoon villains. Actually I think it was invented because they didn't want to use (and offend) China in the Red Dawn remake.
