Is it homosexual to date a trans woman?

I think most people on here are mature enough to discss this sensibly

What's your take?

Never mind what was the case before the surgery. It all boils down to: what is this person NOW? If she's a woman, she's a woman. End of story.

Its funny how I ask this on some other forums and get some nasty responses, people on Here are very advanced thinking

If all you want is sex, you can get that anywhere, anytime... but if you really love someone, it doesn't matter "what" they are... it's WHO they are.

Damn straight, love is probably the most valuable thing in the world, and the rarest, take it when u find imo

Obviously as a straight man you'd be attracted to her because of the feminine aspects of her physique. My ignorance might shine through here, but I'd be concerned with not being able to pleasure a woman with fake parts.

To my knowledge they can still experience pleasure and orgasm, plus you can do psychological stimulation if you have the know-how

A fully transsexual woman still feels the same sensations, as the parts aren't actually fake. The genitalia are reconstructed into a vaginal canal internally, and mons pubis externally. The sensations created during sexual intercourse very much exist.

Is it homosexual? I'm not sure. Is it 100% straight? I too profess total ignorance of the subject (I haven't bothered to look at pictures, far less see in person, trans genitalia), but my gut reaction is no. 90% straight, maybe; maybe more, maybe less. Numbers get kind of meaningless here.

That's certainly true for everyday purposes. But for romantic love and sex? I don't think I could see any XY woman as female enough for my purposes in those fields, though I would (I assume) be far more willing to consider the same with a phenotypically born and raised female XY human than a trans woman.

So, as for the OP... my best answer is, "not necessarily, but it's a gray area."

@gaith

You say that you couldnt see a transgendered as female enough, but what if it's a biological woman who is a tomboy or looks a bit manly, compared with a beautiful, feminine transgendered woman

See what I mean

I dont know where to draw the line

Draw it wherever you feel most comfortable.

^^ Angery Picard should calem down.

To answer the question: a) No. b) Who cares? :D

Well, there are several different states of transsexualism, going from cross-dresser over pre-OP transsexual (on hormone treatment and/or with breast implants) to post-OP transsexual.

If you're with a cross-dresser, you're either gay other bi.

If you're with a pre-OP transsexual, I'd say your probably bi. You don't necessarily need to be, "but it helps".

If you're with a post-OP transexual, you're straight (or bi, depending on your other interests).

Anyway, it doesn't really matter, as "gay", "bi" and "straight" are merely labels. Act on what you feel and you can not go wrong.
