Is it hard for you to get comfortable?

I've found that my ability to get comfortable is directly related to my eating and exercise habits. If I eat heavy or unhealthy foods for awhile, and get less exercise than I'm used to, it's manifested in achy, annoying, discomfort. When I've been diligent in my exercise (yoga particularly), I am able to get comfortable more quickly and easily -- in a bed or chair.

Same for me here. I tend to be kinda tense, but exercise helps me a lot to relax. Great for stress relief also. :)

I'm usually pretty adept at getting comfy. Unless I have a sore neck or back. Or a kidney stone. :rommie:

It's fairly easy actually. I'm used to having jobs where I don't have a choice
but to learn to be comfortable, so I do. I'm not very picky either, I can adjust
to most things.

Right now I'm pretty sore from playing football yesterday. But I simply ingore it.

Yes, I do have a hard time with it. I can't sit still without feeling weird or itchy. I guess people would say I have a very tense body...I hate massages and never let them happen to me, and when someone instructs me to relax it makes me feel very uncomfortable and I have to be more active with my body to compensate. Example: when you go to hypnotist shows and the hypnotist asks the audience to relax and clear their mind, etc. it makes me feel icky to think of doing that so I start fidgeting a lot.

Can't help you with the fused spine issue, but I have exactly the same reaction as you to the idea of a massage or hypnosis or anything like that, but by myself I can get comfy really easily - too easily usually :p

But no way, no how is anyone giving me a massage! :klingon:
