So after watching the Comic Relief sketch from last night, it got me thinking, is she bi or was her flirting with herself just really narcissistic and nothing more.

Oh, FFS! :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Thank you, Mr. Moffat, for giving the creepy saddo portion of the fanbase new fapping fuel.

Oh, come off it. It's a legitimate question. We've never seen Amy flirt with anyone other than the Doctor, Rory, or Vincent van Gogh before. If she's flirting with a woman -- herself -- it's legitimate to ask if this is because she's bisexual or if it's just vanity.

I must admit I did actually ask if it actually mattered when I first wrote the original post, but I decided to not include it because of, well, because I thought it would be interesting to see some of the answers.

No it's not. It's a stupid childish question. Most male fans who would ask a question like this are saddos who want to do the five knuckle shuffle while thinking of Amy doing herself or another woman.

:wtf: That has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever seen typed. Why the hell does it matter? Or do you want it to be true so you can get your rocks off at the thought of her with herself or another woman?

Well the question you did ask makes you come off as a creepy perv looking for new material to add to your spank bank.

Does it? Well fuck-de-do. I've just told my GF what you said and what she said was "well somebodies over reacted and probably got issues."

It was a fun little question and also pretty irrelevant. I'm sure even the most fuck-ugly of people would take an interest in what they look like if they found themselves face-to-face with themselves. I certainly would be interested in myself as I don't rate my attractiveness very highly even though I've been told I look very good both in person and when I've had cause to be in front of a TV camera.

So yes, I may have phrased it a bit of a juvenile way, but "shrug." I decided to get in before the really serious thread on the matter was created.

There's going to be a serious thread on this? is that the one the police will be monitoring for the nonce jotter?

:rofl:

I want to say it's early, but as it's 13:50 I can't, okay, serious probably isn't the best term either. :p

Damn you Moffat, turning me into a perv, sex maniac. I knew the Scots were evil. And damn that temptress Karen Gillan for playing the part of Babylonian Whore. Another evil Scot to boot, no less!

For the same reason it matters if Captain Jack is bisexual (or omnisexual, if you prefer): Because it increases our understanding of the character.

Or do you want it to be true so you can get your rocks off at the thought of her with herself or another woman?
Um, no, thanks. But as a strong advocate for LGBT equality, I'm curious as to whether we can take this as an indication that Amy Pond is bisexual or not. (Believe it or not, bisexuals exist entirely independently of heterosexual male stereotypes of them, and are in fact not the living embodiments of distasteful straight male fantasies, but, rather, actual human beings.)

I can see the point of your complaint, but do we need the judgementalism toward strait males? Or would the fantasies be equally distasteful if enjoyed by a bisexual woman?

...you're quite right. Considering I've known people with it, I'm surprised I got that wrong. Me just leaping for the punchline there.
