It has been confirmed that Iron Man will be release on DVD and Blu-Ray on September 30. So mark that in your calendar!

Love the box art and the street date being a month away, not too long (wonder if that means we can expect a for sure Christmas release for Dark Knight since it came out two months after Iron Man) why no audio commentary though? Behind the scenes features are great but audio commentaries are my main attraction to buying a DVD. I'll be buying this anyway since it was a great movie.

Paramount Home Entertainment has announced 1-disc ($29.99), 2-disc ($39.99) and Blu-ray ($39.99) releases of Iron Man which stars Robert Downey Jr. Each will be available to own from the 30th September.

And all the BTS stuff might make up for the fact that they never put out an "Art of Iron Man" book.

Iron Man: The Art of Iron Man The Movie is due out at the end of October according to Amazon. I have absolutely no idea why they are waiting until a month after releasing the DVD, much less waiting several months until after the movie came out to release this book, but I'm not a marketing guy so I guess I just don't understand these things.
