I'm thinking of purchasing an iPod to use while running or biking in the exercise room. My requirements are not too great. I don't need it to hold a great amount of songs: 1K-2K is sufficient. I do need to choose what I'm listening to, so the Shuffle is out. In looking at the Apple website, it looks like the nano might meet my needs. However, the feature that switches the music to a new song when you shake it seems like it would not work well with running. Can it be turned off? Does the nano seem like the best choice, or do I need the Classic?
What good or bad experiences have people had with their iPods?
Also, are my headphones I'm using for my Discman compatible with the iPod?
