There's not a single person I know who owns an iPhone 4 who's ever once complained about a bad antenna or dropped calls. And I know a lot of people with iPhone 4's.

Not only that, but I can now actually get reception in areas where I NEVER could with the 3G model.

Same here. My mom's very happy with her 4, and so is my roommate.

Reception's pretty spotty at my parents' place usually, my Samsung Galaxy S II actually tends to get a (slightly) better signal compared to her iPhone 4.

Not ignoring, fully aware. Just making fun of his post about their being a potential probably with the iPhone 5's antenna, when it appears they have remedied the non-issue with the 4s. Reread his post then mine, think you will get it then.

I like your thinking, why wait for the attenna problem, when you can get the iPhone 4s and it attenna problem right now.

I'm waiting for delivery of mine now, upgrading from a 3GS. I decided not to wait for the 5 and the inevitable antenna-or-something-similar problems. Also, with the same case design it already has a load of accessories available for it.

Nope, I got the same impression as Kataarn, that you were not aware of the redesign of the antenna in the 4S.

I got mine on Friday and I'm pretty happy with it. I'd dropped my 3G one too many times, and shattered the screen about a month ago, so I was definitely ready for an upgrade.

And while the 4s may not be 'The Most AMAZING Phone Evah!!!!!1111!' it is a Hell of an improvement. Calls sound good, and it hasn't dropped any for me so far. It's incredibly fast, camera works nicely, and Siri's a lot fun.

My one complaint is that that the glass on the back makes the phone a lot more slippery, so it doesn't balance as well as my last one. BUT...as I'd broken that phone by tossing it across the room, it's probably good that I'll have to put a case on this one.
