Which episode is the worst in making the rest of the crew look pretty thick from how slow they are to catch on?

I got the exact opposite impression: the adults were on top of the situation, fully aware that Lore was making an idiotically megalomaniac attempt at impersonating his brother, and thus assigned him a "tail" in the form of Worf and two heavies. But that stupid kid, thinking he was so clever, almost blew it by trying to state the obvious.

It always amused me, in Allegiance one of the things that help Riker and gang build their case against fake Picard is the fact that he joins in on the poker game. Then in AGT's final scene when Picard joins in on the poker game and laments he should have done this a long time ago, Deanna says "you were always welcome." Ha! The last time he joined in, you all used it as grounds to stage a mutiny, and now you claim he was always welcome.

And two minutes after the credits roll, they tackled him to the ground and held him in the brig for days until Starfleet Medical performed a full physical and psychiatric check on him to determine that he was, in fact, the Captain he exclaimed to be.

At which point they meekly apologized, and Picard punished them by forcing them to randomly change uniform styles every 20 minutes.
