Nick, I review a lot of productions for both Audio Drama and video productions. I have found in several cases the audio wizard in windows 8 and 10 will bring up the volume in certain tracks resulting in the music drowning out the voices. sometimes just by switching from speaker to headset mode. They have their own settings for playback so it is possible for someone to run into this issue and thinking it is a bad mix on the studio's behalf.

We had a pretty good time shooting a new short yesterday. In case anyone's interested in just how much work goes into just a few seconds of screen time on one of these, I did a quick time lapse of a couple of takes worth of just one scene.

Also worth noting, this is the first time we've ever finished a shoot on schedule (pretty much down to the minute). Wonders will never cease.
