Unreality SF, a new website about tie in - books, has been launched and features ,among other things, interviews with three Star Trek authors:

which is very complimentary about On The Spot (actually, I haven't seen a review that isn't - most reviews of the book I've seen have just said it's a good collection and been fairly non-specific)

I especially like the bit that says they'd like to see more of me in Trekverse.

Actually one of the questions for the interview came from me, and Daniel mailed me when he put it online.

Oh, it was only a little one about "Thinking of You"; why you used the not-so-regular characters Barklay,Ro and Lwaxana and none of the regulars.

Yeah, it's interesting to know that obviously you are one of the guys the editors go to when they have something very specific in mind for a story. Some may interpret that as some kind of slight against you're imagination, but I think it's a sign of the great trust they have in your ability to turn an idea that is not entirely your own into an enjoyable story.
