Interesting BTS photo w/ a ?

Was watching "Pioneers of Television: Science Fiction" and saw this still image.

It's seen at 1:43 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFChfhwJz6I&t=108s I don't remember seeing it before. Looking at it I'm not sure if it is vintage or a recreation?? The Enterprise looks different, the mounting bracket is also at the rear? Anyone know anything about this still?

It's also interesting in that, if that is Gene Roddenberry, he is picking up that goose neck lamp and it almost looks like he's thinking that the lamp can be used somewhere on the bridge, like it was.

Looks fake to me. The Enterprise in particular looks wrong in distinct ways. It looks like the FJ version of the ship which exists only as drawings and more recent fan made 3D models.

Yeah, that whole thing is a collage. The Enterprise model is supported way too far aft, which is a fake within a fake, done for some compositional reason.

It's obviously an image created specifically for b-roll and not a legit BTS picture.

The ship is shown in a perfect-dimensionless side view. There are spotlights on the boomerangs on the secondary hull pennant and on the "NCC-1701" on the nacelles, just like TMP, which the original never had. And the camera isn't the one you'd actually use for VFX shoot.

Agree it is not a real photo. That camera to the left looks like a forerunner of Robbie the Robot.

There's nothing worse than people who screw with history, or try to make up their own for whatever reason.
