so, I bought the excellent VoI from Amazon UK months back (loved it) and I then got an email from Amazon UK reccommending me a new book because I got VoI. nothing weird in that you may think.

until i tell you it was the Strictly Come Dancing* annual!

WTF?!

talk about weird connections!




*SCD is the UK original name for the US Dancing With the Stars show.

Sometimes I think they just pick random things for their "recommendations". That or it thought VOI had something to do with dancing.

The rationale was probably that, having bought one series guide or companion, you might be interested in another recently released one. All format, no theme.
