In which episodes did T'Pol look her best?

^Hopefully, HR, that issue now addressed...

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed a similarity in facial features between Blalock and Gary Graham (Soval)?

Soval is secretly her father and also secretly a Romulan agent.

They both have a Vulcan look, which makes me happy. While I know Vulcans are diverse there are some people that look terrible as Vulcans IMO. NuSarek I cannot stomach. There are a few in ENT whose features are decidedly unVulcan.

^^ That's a nice one. Early third season, from the look of the eyebrows. Which episode?

I'm impressed you can do seasons by eyebrows :) I can do TOS/TNG/DS9 by outfits and VOY by Janeway's hair. That's from Hatchery, and imo one of only decent things about ep. I've only seen ENT through once, but surely that's not considered a good episode?

In honor of the various best female Vulcan threads around:

Fascinating to think how this vibrant being developed over time into her TOS version...

^^ But at some point one of TPTB told Jolene to stop shaving her eyebrows and cover them with makeup. (Heaven only knows why-- if anyone knows, chime in.) Of course, you can't get away with covering eyebrows with makeup, no matter how good a makeup artist you are. So for several episodes in Season 3, if you look closely, or the lighting is right (er, wrong), you can see Jolene's human and Vulcan eyebrows. :wtf: I believe "Hatchery" was the last of those; her eyebrows look properly Vulcan in "Azati Prime."

I just saw Harbinger and you definitely can see her eyebrows through the makeup .She said she it looked funny she really disliked the way her eybrows looked with the thick makeup on trying to cover up her real eyebrows and drew on her Vulcan eyebrows. The fans discussed it too and said they noticied it also. She finally did get her way about changing her eyebrows again and it was a big improvement in T'Pol's look during the rest of the season 3.

Azati Prime...with bonus tears

Is T'Pol only Vulcan who cried? I know Sarek does in TNG, but he's excused because of that nasty disease. And I think Spock does in one of TOS eps, but again he's half-human and I'm sure he was affected by something (and no doubt Chappell was in there like a shot :) Boy, did that girl carry a torch...)

After the Vulcans attacked the Takerreth santuay T'Pol found her Mom fatally wounded and when T'Les died in T'Pol's arms she cried about losing her mother so suddenly and unexpectedly even though the two of them didn't get along very well.

^You're absolutely right. Awakening. But I kinda excuse that as T'Pol clearly not the same Vulcan she once was after season 3 :)

And just to make things a bit cheerier...Doctor's Orders

Almost a smile?

I wonder what she is thinking about. From E squared.

Sorry, but it's from the last scene in "Fusion." The severe cut of the bangs and the eyebrows are a dead giveaway. Great scene between her and Archer, btw.

Here she is in "E2." Much more beautiful.

One of my favorite episodes, very poignant.

Guilty as charged :alienblush:
Thank you HR for setting it straight. Hopefully no TrekBBS members suffered any permanent damage from this misinformation:)
