"In Harm's Way" - 6th Anniversary

It's really an honor talking to you, Jack. I only discovered Star Trek: New Voyages last weekend and I've watched all the episodes you've made so far. I was deeply impressed with "To Serve All My Days" and "World Enough and Time", but all of it is simply outstanding work. Thank you for the chance to see some more great stories from the original Trek! Can't wait to see what else you've got in store for us.

Just to be clear, I had nothing to do with the FANTASTIC episode "World Enough and Time". It is a wonderful episode as they all have been since I left and was directed by Marc Zicree.

"Serve", while directed by me, was extensively reshot, directed and edited by Erik Goodrich, so really, besides being on set "directing", I really didn't do much there either.

The reason I'm talking about "In Harm's Way" as opposed to any of the other episodes is because it was it's anniversary and it was a great experience to make it with James and the gang.

I have nothing but respect for what they've done since I left and it only gets better and better every time. I'm a huge fan!

So, over the past 24 hours I've received some private messages which makes me want to state the following once more in case you didn't read the entire original post.

I did this just for fun, it is in no way authorized by producers past or present, and was not meant as any sort or rebellious or "renegade" act or a slight against the official version (which I edited as well).

If I offened anyone by posting this I'm sorry. For those who've enjoyed the walk down memory lane, great - I thought it was fun too.

Next up, the Star Trek V re-edit - I'm hoping by Thanksgiving at the latest.

This is my last post in this thread. Next time you hear from me will be about Star Trek V. Until then, I hope you enjoy the upcoming fall season - if you're lucky enough to have one

Best Wishes,

Jack Marshall

I forgot to mention this after I watched it back on saturday but it wouldn't let me watch part 4 for some reason. Said it wasn't available. It just skipped to part 5.

Jack, this was just too cool for words.

For some reason, I think "In Harm's Way" is my favorite of the "New Voyages"/"Phase II" episodes. This makes me all kinds of happy. :)

WOW... Seven years... REALLY... I still haven't caught up on sleep lost working on IHW! Look forward to watching your "Director's Cut". And, yes, time does heal wounds... Best of everything to you and Pearl!

The video as it appears on my YouTube channel is the highest resolution we have available. I havne't created a torrent yet, but the videos can be downloaded by going to keepvid.com and entering the url of the video. You can at least in that way download each part.

Hope that helps!

Jack

Thanks for your reply. I would really love to see a torrent of that cut cause even if I download the parts from youtube, it will be not the same quality as youtube compresses it again.
I really would like to help with the torrent and seed a lot.
I understood that the 720p Version now has a higher resolution than the native. It's just that I would love to see it without a blowup as it was originally filmed.

Thanks for all your work. It's an amazing job you guys have done with that series and I hope it will go on and on and on...
