There's a brief shot in the "season four, part two" trailer (for lack of a better term offhand) with Tilly and Vance at Starfleet Headquarters rattled by an explosion. Unless they yanked the scene out, we'll probably see her for real.
Perhaps they'll discover that the real home was the friends they made along the way.

I kind of hate saying this, but him and Tarka reminded me not of O'Brien and Eechar from DS9's "Hard Time", but a film from the '80s called Mac & Me.
