I'm so angry with myself!

New Jersey. *shudder*

There's a place I'll never step foot in again.

Pansy! :p

I moved here from Indiana and I'm getting along just fine.

I was there for 2 days on my East Coast roadtrip a couple summers ago, and it was by far the worst place I've ever been in my entire life. Rude people. Nobody would help us out. And by the time we left, our feet were bleeding because we ended up having to walk 3 hours back to our hotel because the bus (the one we were instructed to take) dropped us off very far away, and nobody would help us get back. There were a lot of other things, but I mostly remember bleeding.

It's not that I don't believe the OP at all..it's just difficult for me to understand..but from what I did gather from the post, the OP is sick of being controlled by the grandfather and is ready to move back to Jersey..which is understandable. I know sometimes when we're angry, we type REALLY fast just to get all the vents out as soon as we can..that can lead to grammar mistakes, and many punctuation errors as well. We don't realize we have goofed until we go back to the thread and read our original post. I don't think it was intentional that the OP did it..but it does make it more difficult to understand from an outsider's point of view though.

It was mentioned in a thread a little while ago that the OP is deaf and doesn't quite have a grasp on the written English language. Once I found that out, it became pretty obvious in almost every post of his that I've read since then (things like subject-verb agreement, verb tenses, etc. tend to be his weak points). That's fine, and I certainly don't have any experience being deaf, so I can't really judge him for it. What throws me a little bit is that he has goals of being a famous screenwriter, which is going to be incredibly difficult if he doesn't get a better handle on writing English.

I just want to know what his mysterious mission in North Carolina is. I fear it may have dire repercussions for life as we know it, if he is unable to complete it.

Whereas I am wondering if "mission" is actually the word he wanted to use.

It's almost like using an online translator. Yeah, the words got translated, but the context is completely missing.

Give me one week to collect my thoughts. I know that I type too fast to channel my anger. I'll be more than happy to explain all this. All this story that I spoke the very words is all true. I'm very sorry that you didn't understand what I was talking about. So once again, give me one week to collect my thoughts.

Hey you didn't "[take] us out", no sweat. If you really want to stop being so spoilt, let your family move to NJ while you stay until your mission, whatever it is, is completed in NC. If you're still a minor, tough.

You remind me of another guy I knew online. Every day he would complain about his parents and brother who would walk all over him. Every day myself and the others he spoke to told him to man up, get a job and move out. And every time, he had an excuse as to why that just wouldnt work.

Eventually we all stopped trying to help.

Man up, get a job and move out.

Gotta agree with this.

I don't think your problem is where you live, it's who you live with. If you regret being "spoiled" by your grandfather in the past, you should take your life into your own hands now.

Get out on your own, however tough it is. Learn what it's like to take care of yourself. You'll get the life experience necessary to write truly great stories.

And yeah, if you want other people to read them and take them seriously, you should take some introductory writing courses to work out your grammar issues. You've got a good imagination; you just need to learn to express yourself better.
