I'm Not Here

Temis the Vorta

Finally saw this - liked it more than I thought I would. So what if it's weird? This is really the only way you should do a Dylan biopic.

Cate Blanchette got a lot of talk about her performance but what about Marcus Carl Franklin? What an incredibly talented child actor. Did he really perform his own music?

I love this movie. Every single "Bob" was great, even Richard Gere (which is amazing to me because I can't stand him).

I'm Not There was a great movie. I personally think Cate Blanchett was the best, but Ben Whishaw was also really good. I think they had his mannerisms and his general personality down the best. One of my favorite scenes in that movie is when Jude Quinn and that poet guy are standing by the crucifix and he says something like "I liked your early stuff better". It sort of emphasized the struggle Dylan went through in the 60's for people not accepting him for what he is, and wanting him to be what he once was.
