I think this is a key point in explaining the OP's mentality. The very fact that there is a moviespoilers.com illuminates just how much our modern internet culture is used to having a full description somewhere on the internet.

Well, yes and no. There's a big difference between something like that for an ongoing TV show, producing 22 hours a year for the fan to catch up on, versus a movie franchise producing an average of maybe an hour per year. There's a lot more pressure on someone watching the TV show to keep up to date.

Why not just read an SCE story every other week. What would get you finished in 2.85 years. Not too bad if you really are as busy reading other stuff as you say. And you might find you like them enough to read even more in less time.
