I'm going to be rich ...

Not Kwai Chang Caine or John the Balladeer, but pretty much everyone else.

^ Pat Patriot rules!!!

My wife, the soft spoken, bend over backwards to please everyone, Ivy League PhD is a total Patriots nut. It's like somehow, that's her release for being all smart and responsible the other 165 hours a week. She says stuff that would make a drunken sailor brush.

I bought her a Pats shirt yesterday as the season is about to start, but I had to buy one with Flying Elvis on it. It was painful to do.

I'd change my av too, but football is best when there's weather to be had.

I HAVE to meet you and your wife in person. You're very clearly "my kinda folks". Well, except for the "flying elvis" part.

FTW!

And Sparky, great stories. And I love your username, in light of your former profession. :bolian: It's amazing what people will believe.

I can't let an awesome MASH reference go unthanked. So, Thank You.

The name Sparky was actually my IRL nickname given to me by bike couriers while I was working in the mail room for a 50 storey building in the downtown. I had an uncanny ability to give them the package they needed before they even asked for it.

My 411/Operator/Relay job was quite different. Far more depressing and rewarding at the same time.

"depressing" or not, you've clearly led an interesting life.

And yeah, there aren't enough M*A*S*H references these days. :bolian:

I suggest a meetup one lovely fall Sunday. The doggies can romp in the morning and we can all watch the game in the afternoon. We can all make assorted culinary delights.

And yeah, Flying Elvis can take a long walk off a short dock...
