Sorry...we do. I went to see "10" just to see BO DEREKS boobs. Same reason I went to see all those FRIDAY 13th movies in the early 80s...boobs!!! Star Trek seems to cater to boys/men who are not into that sort of thing (thus the Dork label)..but it does happen..more than you think.

The fact they are putting her boobs in the previews, and showing Kirk humping an alien, is proof enough to me that "they" know what attracts people to a movie. You may not agree with it and think we have moved beyond that..but I work with military guys every day. Most of them are in that age catagory, and sex does sell with them...

Star Trek fans just aren't use to this kind of promotion. We like our spaceship battles and our heroes...but this movie isn't being aimed at us, thank God, and so seeing a girls boobies in a PR clip is going to come as a shock. Its totally expected. But calm yourselves...the needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few. And right now, if her boobies put someones butt into a movie seat, then I accept it...

What normal teenager boy would have gone to see those two turds based on the trailers we got. Those movies probably had large repeat viewings from Liza Minelli crowd..not good prospects for $$$

Well...as I said earlier, I work for the US NAVY. And quite a few of my black friends find Saldana to be rather hot looking. So her beauty attracts more than us 'westernized' men.

As for your second part? Yeah, you would think that TOS never had sex in it the way some of these people go on and on about not being attracted to TREK. Maybe its what hooked them all those years ago and ,well, they forgot.
