I'm back but still not mentally well!

...take my medicine. This time I am going to take it, even when I start to feel better...
Good for this Jayson. This is the number one mistake people with drug-managed cognitive disorders make. The drugs are not a cure, they're for maintenance. If you take them you will be OK, if you don't the problems will come back. Never consider stopping without talking to your doctor first.

Indeed. Keep doing what you're doing, making necessary adjustments along the way, and things will get better.

There are a lot of people following this thread who wish you well Jason but aren't just repeating the wise words of those who have posted.

Jason, I'm so happy to hear that you are working to help yourself. All I want to say has already been said, though I'd like to echo the importance of sticking with your meds and doctor's visits, especially when you're feeling better. It might be the hardest part (I know it is for me), but it's so important. I wish you well and will be thinking of you!

I want to thank everyone for your support. It's been nice having a place to be able to talk about what I am going through. I told ya, before I even told my family, though they now know. I think I am starting to feel better. I still feel uncomfortable when I feel happy about something because of what Jaycee went thorugh but the fact that I sometimes do feel happy about things is a improvement I supose.

Jason

That's good to hear. We're your pals here and we care about what happens to you. :bolian:

If you don't mind my asking what medication do they have you on? I have a lot of experience with psych meds so I am just curious what they prescribed for your condition.
