Why is it that of of late i've been seeing ships go to warp near planets, which are inside Solar Systems?
Correct me if i'm wrong (which i'm not) but in the episode (cant think of it or find the name anywhere, but you'll know what i'm talking about) inwhich the changling Dr Bashir is about to destroy Bajors sun. Kira tells Dax to go to warp, but Dax responds with: "We cant go to warp inside a Solar System" where Kira replies with "If we don't there wont be a Solar System anymore"
Well clearly JJ and his team of first time Trek writers are not entirely familiar with the whole Trek thing and Jargon. And I suppose rules and System laws.
But if you can understand it just doesn't all add up in the long run.
Any thoughts???
