I always thought the Gorn were a lost opportunity. Also, the Orions would have fit in good with Quark and the Ferengi.

Definitely Trelane also. IMO it was a huge wasted opportunity that they cast the Trelane actor to rehash a much less interesting, less developed, and less important role yet neglected Trelane.

I wanna see NOMAD back too, especially to hear his wonderful insights about Dax.
