Presumably, I would have been Susan, since that's my Sister's name. Or maybe Stephanie, since I was almost Stephen-- my Brother got that one.

If I were to suddenly transform into a woman, though, I'd go with Rachel, since it sounds so much like my current name.

Edit: Oh I just remembered I think it was going to be Marnie because my dad's name was Neno and my mom's is Marlene so they wanted to combine the two. Although if my dad had his way apparently it would have been Nemar.

Several years ago, my mother told me that had I been a girl, I would have been named Mia. (I guess my parents liked Mia Farrow?) I have no idea what my middle name would have been - Arthur is a family tradition for boys, but there's no really close female equivalent that I can think of. (Okay, there's Arlene, and since that's my mother's middle name - though it's the one she goes by - that may be what I would have ended up with.)
