If you were stuck on Destiny, what things would you want

Pfft, forget the Nanosuit.

Get me a set of Chozo power armor. Nasty space bad guys of any kind? Say hello to a plethora of completely unfair weapons and gadgers.

Subspace capacitors and enough naquadah to fix/enhance the power distribution system.

And a CryNet System's Nanosuit 2.0 to keep me alive in case of an accident beyond TJ's limited medical abilities.

There isn't enough naquadah in the stargate program to fix destiny's power system. Its kinda like Atlantis in some respect.

All Atlantis needs is ZPMs. Destiny is powered by solar energy not naquadah.

Oh its powerful but a mothership of any kind would look small compared to destiny.
Its doesn't run on solar panels but dips into a sun to directly steal its fusion energy.
It could never fix destiny's main power, that would take the mains coming on. The back-ups run on solar.

I don't think Destiny is particularly big, maybe even smaller than a Hat'ak if you look at how big it is compared to the shuttle. Maybe naquadah wouldn't fix their problems completely, but it would do a lot more than power some lights and doors.

It's Destiny's power conduits that are physically damaged beyond the also damaged self repair systems to fix. So all the naquada in the verse wouldn't help, beyond turning on some lights.

Destiny took a generation to build, its not becuase its small. You also have to remember that the shuttle is about as big as a Al'kesh. There can be atleast two on the ship. But there is three different shuttles pads.
Destiny is described as a massive ship.
Its definitely bigger than a Ha'tak.

^ thats never going to happen, it would take years sitting at a dry dock of sorts to fully repair her. Though spare parts(if they could be made) would only bring it back up to maybe 70%.

The shuttles are no where near as big as an Al'Kesh, in fact they're not even as big as a cargo ship. Just look at the size of the interior.

Destiny is described as a massive ship.
When/where? Besides, 'massive' is a relative term. It really doesn't prove anything either way.

Or weapons, or shields, or the FTL, or pretty much anything else on the ship...

Just go to Wikipedia. It will tell you that destiny herself is massive and the shuttles are big. It even says looks can be mis-leading.

In these articles the mother ship of the Gouald is only described a large.

Wikipedia? I hope that is a joke. Besides, I don't need to go there. We see people relative to shuttles all the time, and we see the shuttles next to the ship all the time. It's not difficult to get a rough estimate of the size. And an Al'Kesh is much bigger than a shuttle I know that for a fact, this is a single room inside an Al'Kesh:

even so, its bigger than a cargo ship but not as big as that. its somewhere in the middle.
The list of the biggest ships in stargate are
1. City of Atlantis
2. Super Hive-last episode of SGA
3. Destiny
4. Ori mothership
5. Gouald mothership-anubis.

Well, using a room temperature superconductor (naquadah) would help boost the efficiency of the power distribution systems in order to offset the 50+ million years of decay that have set in on Destiny's systems.

I disagree. I suspect Destiny is not much bigger than a Hat'ak, and likely quite a bit smaller than a mothership.

The size of the shuttles relative to Destiny, also the size of the observation room. Compare that to the size of the bridge on a Hat'ak and the tiny amount of the ship it takes up, and the amount of gliders it can hold and it really doesn't add up. Destiny just can't be that enormous, and I'm not really sure why you think it is.
