If you share a bed

I sleep on the left side of the bed. I tend to choose the left side of the bed when in hotels as well. I think one of the few places where I sleep on the right side is at my parents' house.

Left side...in order to put hubby closest to bathroom.

In a hotel...same rule in addition to the need for hubby's peritoneal dialysis machine dictates the outlets 1st, bathroom 2nd and I get what's available.

FYI we have king size bed at home and use a king size sheet on the bottom and twin everything else for our own set of sheets/blankets et al. Otherwise he hogs covers.

I like to sleep diagonally, sprawled across as much of the bed as possible, forcing my partner onto the floor where they belong.

When sharing the bed with hubby, I'm on the right side.

If I sleep alone, I always select the side closest to the bathroom.

This is like the 5th person that has stated closest to the bathroom.... Damn you old fucks go the pisser alot! :wtf:

:p

It actually doesn't matter that much to me. I pretty much sleep anywhere. In our house in Bellevue I was on the left side and in our rental I'm on left side again... hmm... could be a pattern developing. When we get our new house I'll have to be first to claim the right so the old hag doesn't start thinking she makes decisions around here!

I sleep on the top side of the bed. I mean, sleeping underneath the bed itself is just silly. Unless you have a bunk bed, in which case I always prefer to sleep underneath someone. ;)

But to answer the question properly :p I don't share a bed with anyone (yet), but despite that I sleep on whichever side is convenient for me i.e. access to clock radio, personal belongings, phone, but this has usually tended to gravitate towards the left side than the right. I've found this even when sleeping in a hotel room by myself with a double bed. I sleep on the right alone when access is on the right hand side only, as is the case at my own home. Curiously, in my bed at my parents' house, I enter the bed from the right but sleep on the left.

Now, I'm no bedroom psychologist [go on, insert your own joke here] but I guess my sleeping positional habits reflect a need to stay in touch with the world and to be on the ball. Interestingly, in my last flat I also slept on the side of the bed furthest away from the exit. This might suggest I like to remain in my own comfort space when I need to be, and don't compromise when it comes to trying to get rest. That I also prefer to sleep on the bottom of a bunk bed may reflect Falling Out Of Bed Anxiety™, a need to stay attached to a cradle of support and security at all times. But what do I know, eh? ;)

Left side. Began when I started coming over and we only had 90 cm to sleep on. I'd be folded against the wall, she'd have all the freedom on the right side (and the risk of falling out of bed ). We stuck to the sides now that we have twice as much to play in. It also means that kiddo always has to go by me first before waking up his mommy, I'm a light sleeper anyway, and it might ween him off mommy a bit.

When I'm at my girlfriend's place, it's usually the left side. Same with hotel rooms. If I'm alone, though, I tend to sleep in the middle.

It seems to always be the right for me but it's dicated by accesiblity as my wife has transfer out of a wheelchair. Of course it guess fun if she's in bed before me - then I have to fight for my side of the bed :)

It varies, but it's always the side that's closest to the door, which means at both mine and hers I'm on the left side of the bed.

usaually the left hand side, my partner gets the right hand side as it's nearest the phone and she dose like to yap

No matter what, I will always choose the closest side to the exit. And, no, pee pee is not a parameter.
