If you had a nararator for your life, who would you want?

Who is Your Favorite Narrarator, Top 3

Bob Saget. If he's good enough for Ted Mosby he's good enough for me.

Alternately I'd like Maurice LaMarche. As long as he uses the voice he uses to narrate Futurama's "Anthology of Interest" episodes. That way at the end he can say "YOU WATCHED IT!!! YOU CAN'T UN-WATCH IT!!!"

Although I've never heard her narrate anything, I love Stevie Nix's voice. So, I'd go with her.

If not, my life would have to be narrated by Rod Seriling.

Michael Caine.
Because he speaks like this?

:)

Even though he's not my personal choice, I am very disappointed not to see Sir David Attenborough on this list. As for some of the other options, I like Sigourney Weaver's non-intrusive narration, but I found Oprah's narration to be distracting and patronizing. I think I'd like Stephen Fry to be my narrator. I think he has the suitable mix of doom and silliness to fit my life!

I love it!

David Keith (I think this is his name) - He was the black guy in platoon who was friends with Charlie Sheen and got to go home before the climatic battle. He also played an Air Force General in "Amageddon" . He now voices commercials for the US Navy.

David Keith is from An Officer and a Gentleman, Firestarter, U-571 and Daredevil.

Keith David is from Platoon, Armageddon, Pitch Black and the voice of Spawn in the animated series.

If David Attenborough wasn't available, then I'd choose Benedict Cumberbatch. :bolian: Or Michael Palin.

Sir David Attenborough for me.

Second choice, because it seems we can include dead people, is Michael Ansara who had a truly wonderful voice.

... or maybe Samuel West.

Or a nice female voice like Charlotte Green or Carey Mulligan.

Or Patrick Allen if he was still alive, and PETER! DICKSON! on special occasions.

Maybe even Mark Halliley.

But NOT Marcus Bentley. :guffaw: Actually, on second thoughts, he would be perfect. :guffaw: :guffaw:

Hmmmm... So many choices..

Charlton Heston (RIP), would be my first choice.. Say what you want about the man, but he had an unique ability to go over the top without, you know, going over the top...

If I had to make another choice I'd go with:

Stephen Fry
James Earl Jones

Marlin Perkins (C'mon, you remember those old Mutual of Omaha wildlife shows!)
