Considering I have the most bizarre and wacky dreams imaginable, I would have to go with a no on that.
Unless I could construct the dream and didn't know it was a dream. Then that is ok.

If I knew I was in a dream? No. Of course, I believe that upon death, we likely do nothing more than break down to our basic components and return to the earth's ecosystem. Eventually, the earth will be consumed by its star, and the star itself will eventually shed much of its body to become a white dwarf, and then the atoms that made up myself and billions of other humans, along with all other life and non-life that was on the earth, will float outward to become parts of other stars, planets, and particulae.
So that's a "no" on the dreaming.

I recall hearing dreams occur in the last ten to seven seconds of sleep, right before you wake up. So, if you die in your sleep before those last ten seconds, the dream never occured.
Also, your brain dies.

I've seen it. It's a great episode, but still, in reality, I would not prefer the dreaming if I knew it was a dream, and even if I didn't know it was a dream, I don't like the idea of being trapped in a rotting corpse while my brain somehow continues to plug away deep in the earth.

Mine are the same way. I have no idea what inspires such weirdness, they almost never have a thing to do with anything that's happening in my life.

Yep. Even in a dream, I can always sense myself. Sometimes it takes a minute, but if I think I'm dreaming, I can always find where I am.Because I would be able to sense myself in the dreaming.How do you know that's not happening now?

I have some incredibly vivid nightmares. Sometimes to do with everyday stuff, sometimes more... surreal. For those dreams? No.
I also have some incredibly vivid good dreams. The most memorable of which tend to be erotic... and sure, whatevs, in that case. Sign me up for some erotic good times for eternity, with all the girls I've been with and all the girls I wanted to be with but wasn't. (Hey, KK. Let's break the Internet together... with the power of our love. ACK.)
Mostly, though, the most vivid dreams I have are ambiguous and surreal. Like a dream I had about purchasing off-the-rack human skin-suits from Danny DeVito, or about being able to float (not fly, float) through a luxury hotel as a human balloon. Would I want to live that forever? Couldn't say. But probably no.
