If you could only watch 5 episodes of Voyager

^Homestead I believe. That was another episode I was a bit surprised I liked the second time around. When Neelix got serious or an episode featured him, it actually was pretty good for the most part.

I found I liked Neelix much more when I went back to the series. Originally I was 'meh' on his character. I didn't dislike him. I just didn't care about him. Second viewing, I really came to like him and especially the strange bond between him and Tuvok. Homestead was a wonderful farewell to his character, and I really loved the role Tuvok played in it as well as their scenes.

That brings up another episode I liked on a recent rewatch, Riddles. That bond you describe was on great display here and you can see the subtle friendship they had, even if it was mostly one way. It's actually one of those new appreciation things I've gotten from the series.

I also have come to appreciate many episodes which bored me to tears a decade ago. And yes. Tuvok is a character that has grown on me only as of a few years ago. His relationship with Janeway was a great one. :techman:

The Killing Game
Counterpoint
Unimatrix Zero
Threshold -- Yeah, I said it!
Dark Frontier

Caretaker (both parts) because it
I like these because they help you see what Voyager was up against as it made its way through the DQ.

I know that DQ is short for Delta Quadrant, but I tell you, a triple chocolate blizzard from Dairy Queen is sounding very good right now.
Yay! Someone else makes that association with "DQ." :guffaw:
If you go get that Blizzard, do hook me up with a Butterfinger Blizzard as well!

Counterpoint

Oh, good; I have just been given another excuse to post Mark Harelik's chest hair!

I feel like it's something that can't be shared enough.

1. Resolutions (J/C shippyness heaven)
2. Mortal Coil (thoughtful, very well done episode)
3. Scorpion 1 & 2 (Best 2 hours of Voy, EVER!)
4. Distant Origin (thoughtful, very well done episode)

5 really isn't enough! :)

Twisted
Threshold
Favorite Son
Darkling
The Fight

And DQ= Delta Quadrant, Dairy Queen... Voyager is lucky. They only crossed the path of the Borg Queen. In another part of the Delta Quadrant lurks the dreaded Dairy Queen.

I'm only ten episodes into season five but so far:

The Thaw
Q and the Grey
Coda
Scientific Method
Living Witness

I go with:

-Twisted
-Macrocosm
- Night
- Shattered
- Renaissance Man

+ Almost all the 2 part episodes, but I didn't list them, since I could only choose 5, I'd take these.
