If you could have one superpower. . . .

On the other hand, this all sounds like a setup for someone to kidnap Kilana2 and force her to produce gold and latinum. Not a power I would want unless I was very careful to keep where the stuff was coming from a secret. ;)

German puplisher Cross Cult has a Star Trek forum, in it one Mr. J.Archer needs someone to supply him with latinum/money/currency. German ST novels are expensive, especially the Khan novels, he (we) demanded for years. He's the most likeliest kidnapper . His loss. He still thinks, my name is B'Etor ;).

I wonder if, even on a clear day, you could spot a commercial airplane in time to dodge it. A 747 flying cross-country regularly hits, what, 600mph? You'd have to keep your head on a swivel for sure...

According to information found online, your standard commercial airliner travels from 36,000 to 42,000 feet in the air. That's low oxygen, way below freezing temperatures, and thin air. In movies you can pull that off, in real life I and anobody else with a power to fly, wouldn't be flying up there.

The highest I could go, if I use extreme weather gear, is maybe 10,000 feet. But with the wind chill factor, probably only 5,000. Plus I would have the power of flying, not GPS -- I need to be able to see where I'm going lest I want to get lost and be that loser flying man who has to fly low and follow traffic lanes.

Another vote for teleportation. The gas and time I'd save not having to drive to work, not to mention popping over to Hawaii, or Paris for lunch. Great fun!
