If you could have one sci fi set built in your basement...

I have to agree with the Library from BtVS. I was trying to figure a set that had a place for my books...and vynal...and that just does it.
Or the library set from "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" or "Wanted"

I originally said TOS bridge but how about the Nostromo? The whole thing would be too big but how about the bridge, Mothers room, the galley, maybe some hallways.
Oh, I'd definitely go for the whole thing!
My Dad (who was a Set Designer) and I saw ALIEN opening weekend, and they had several artifacts and pieces of the set laid out at the Egyptian theatre!
Out by the street was a small patch of eggs, then you walked through the access corridor into MUTHR's interface room, then you were faced with the Space Jockey from the derelict (which some jerk flicked a match on a few days later)!

I've been obsessed with that entire Nostromo set ever since!
My Dad sure was: ALIEN & Blade Runner were near-religious experiences for him!

For the exterior, I think the 1701 Refit would probably be the best, but it could still use the concept of a different 'ship' for each internal deck, so patrons could have a choice. :)
No windows in the crew quarters, then?

While I know it's predictable, I have to go with Jabba's Palace. I mean, I'd get to smack droids around, throw people into Rancor pits all day lo-

I mean...um...the Star Trek II bridge of course! :)

If I could have ANY set in all of sci-fi built, I'd choose the Bridge of the Enterprise-D.

I'd have to say TOS bridge with giant plasma tv. After all, some day I may sell my house and this would probably also be the most popular choice.

The Tardis but with better furnishings and about three times the size. More space is always a good thing.

Now, what scifi thing would I put in my basement (assuming normal houses around here had basements)? Nothing. I'd want a nice room with a pool table, large tv, and a comfortable sitting area.

The Tardis is as big as a planet, how much more room do you need?

As shallow as the water table is here?

It had better be Admiral Nelson's office/observation room from the nose of the Seaview!

Although the original version of The Time Tunnel would make for a nifty large screen TV.
