If you could have coffee with Kate Mulgrew what would you say?

I think he only had eyes for Laxwana Troi...

...and who can blame him?

I'm pretty sure that if given the opportunity to have coffee with Mulgrew, I would forget the fact that I HATE the stuff, take a swallow by accident and spew it all over myself thereby enshrining myself in Mulgrew's mind

as just another one of those damn fangirls that you can dress up, but you can't "take out" in polite company.

:guffaw:

What's the point of cosplay if you can't clash it against the real world?

I'm not going to spend a thousand dollars on a star fleet uniform for the privacy of "our" bedroom.

There are fat bastards out there, and the only star fleet uniform they can fit into is the replica of Kirks command gold jumper shredded by the Gorn, and if those marshmellow people can show off their hairy man boobs to banner how much they care about the franchise, then I don't understand the the insecurities of even a moderately attractive woman, would have dolling up as a 23rd century communications officer?

I think the  was implied already.

Would you wear your starfleet uniform to a wedding?

Would you wear your starfleet uniform to a court appearance?

Would you wear your Starfleet Uniform to the beach?

I'd wear my SF uniform to get out of jury duty...

Actually I wouldn't because I'd like to be on a jury!

That was in the news a few years back.

Didn't work.

They brought her employer in to explain, "No she's not fucking with you, that's what she wears every day."

The  may have been implied, but what I really wanted to know was how did we jump from coffee with Mulgrew to wearing Starfleet uniforms?

I thought I remembered something...she wasn't trying to stay off the jury though...

Liz Lemon was...but she was Princess Leah...

It was after you said...

Totally on your shoulders.

Liz seems like a great idea until you realize that she's just a slightly hotter version of your grandparents.

Hmmmm.

Well I GUESS I can see your point, except this fangirl dresses up when she meets Trek royalty  ... and I DON'T mean my House of Janeway T shirt. :guffaw:

If I could have coffee, and have it with Kate Mulgrew, I would thank her for proving that a female can be a good and decent Star Trek captain without being used as some sort of sex symbol over good, deep, well-written stories. With her it was substance over style IMHO.

I would ask her to tell me all the stuff that happened on Voyager that they can't talk about in public--including the "Prixin" song. ;)

She probably has carpal tunnel syndrome now.

Someone needs to massage that..

You didn't offer when she was "in the neighborhood"? (I nearly said something else, but was afraid people wouldn't realize I was referring to Australia rather than ... ;) ...)
