If you could change one thing about your body...

I'd probably get laser eye-surgery... I really miss the days when I didn't need to wear glasses or contacts to do, well, everything.

I can't really think of any major cosmetic changes I'd want. I'm more-or-less okay with my current weight. Although sculpted abs sounds kind of cool...

Realistically, laser hair removal -- I love the idea of never shaving my legs and underarms again.

Unrealistically, I'd like my pancreas to work, please.
I'm surprised there hasn't been more effort in creating working artificial pancreata. I mean, given the choice getting such an implant and going through all the nonsense it entails must still be better than having to poke oneself with needles several times a day.

And artificial pancreas wouldn't actually work -- at least, not an internal one, as diabetes is caused by lack of insulin. The insulin pump is as close as one could get, and that means basically a choice of a needle in you round the clock, or several shots a day. I'd rather have a cure than another device though.

I couldn't think of anything, off the top of my head.

Reading through the thread, I like the idea of a couple extra inches of height, or fewer greys, or resetting my biological age by a decade. But there's nothing particularly pressing at the moment. I could do with a higher exercise tolerance though, if we can magic up an operation for that.

I'd do the Lasik if I wasn't terrified of it.
Same here. I kinda like wearing glasses, but there are times when it would be handy to see well beyond two yards without corrective lenses (sports come to mind). On the other hand, my glasses makes me look smarter, which considering it's me we are talking about, it's saying something.

Well, it's not easily fixed by one procedure, but I wouldn't mind being a few inches taller.
Why settle for a few inches when you can opt for gaining a whole foot? That'll leave you at three feet. :bolian:
Nah, I wouldn't know how to deal with all that extra height. Too confusing. :p

Fix my eyes so I don't have to wear glasses anymore.

And lose the benefits of sexy glasses? Pass.
Seriously! When my opthalmologist told me I needed glasses my first thought was, "YES! A fashion accessory I have to buy!"

Yeah, but my prescription is so strong that the glasses weigh a lot and dig into my nose. It kind of kills the whole sexy factor when your glasses are as thick as the Hubble. ;)

I have contacts but I have trouble with them because of an astigmatism that makes them irritate my left eye.

I suppose I could answer this myself.

I would have the hair on my neck removed. I'm fine with the hair on my chest, and I like that I can grow a beard, but never in my life am I going to say, "Man, I think I'm gonna let this hair on my neck grow out." Even when I grow a beard, I still have to shave the random neck hair. It's annoying, and it gets ingrown and infected easily. I want it to die.

This, permanent neck hair removal. It serves not other purpose than to look horrible and irritate my skin and be sucky to shave smooth.

Everything else I'm either happy with, or can fix myself. Maybe some more tattoos.

Unrealistically, I'd like a better immune system. Realistically, I'd like ... I dunno, better skin I suppose. Or maybe some slight reshaping of my body so it's more proportionate in terms of store-bought clothing!

I mean, it wouldn't change shape A LOT, just enough to make it fit better. Mens shirts these days all seem to be made for super skinny emo kids and giant fat people. Where are the clothes for the average-sized people?!
