If you could change a single scene in Enterprise...

I'd have loved subtle, quiet references to the Romulans among the Vulcan characters as well. You know T'Pol was lying or hiding details the whole time they were out in space prior to the minefield incident so as to protect Vulcan's reputation and image.

Could be. Still, I think T'Pol was in the dark about the Romulans. The leadership of the Vulcans understood it is interesting if the general public did.

Well, I'm sure there were many, many stories about what happened to the Vulcans who rebelled against Surak and the Reformation. Even Syrran himself spoke of the Vulcans who "marched under the raptor's wing"(present-day Romulans)and refused the new, more peaceful and logical order of the time. If random guys living out in the wilderness and desert know of the old stories and legends, I'm sure many others do as well.

... Trip's sacrifice was for the speech to happen...
He blew himself up so Archer could make a speech?! :wtf:

And what a fine speech it was. There was so many people wishing they were some other place during Archer's speech. Like T'Pol that wanted to be any place then being with Archer.

 I think you have a beef with something, and I'm not sure what it is. That TATV exists?

^ "The Good That Men Do" does have a way of making things right.

For some, not all. I bet Kitkat will like it though.

Mayweather talking to Shran:

"You think all Earthlings are Pink-Skins?! Okay, so I guess you think I'm from Mercury then?!!"

Hoshi to Shran:

"Yes, the "Pink-Skins" are from Earth, Ensign Mayweather is from Mercury...and I'm from Planet Venus!...Oh and did you see Crewman Nelson at the messhall, he's an Albino humanoid from Pluto!"

I'd have fleshed out Travis's relationship with that Gannon reporter chick a little more fully. We found out so little about Travis after "Horizon" to begin with...I don't think a few more lines of dialogue about their past romance and how it got started would have hurt.

If you could change a scene in Enterprise what would it be? Not an episode, just a scene. Something that had you thinking “That was a good episode until…”

My choice, the early decon scene with Trip and T’Pol. I don’t remember the exact episode but it was very early in season 1. It was the first episode I saw and it gave me a bad impression of the series. At the time I thought the target market and idea must be cheap thrills for teenagers. This scene would have really worked later in the series. Let the characters develop, and put it in an episode where it could be a point that Trip comes to the uncomfortable realization that he has feelings for the Vulcan, and T’Pol would have to come to terms with falling for a human. As aired they were too professional. Later it could have been a scene where they struggled to remain professional and struggled to hide their desires from each other.

Now that you mention it that would have worked very well in season 2 or early in season 3. I would eliminate the "Gazelles" speach.

Why all the hate for the gazelle speech?? I thought the context of it was absolutely appropriate.:(
