Poll If this was the end, would you be satisfied?

If this was the end of Discovery, would you be satisfied?

Would not be satisfied, because I've got a feeling it's about to get really good.

Even if season three is an absolute disaster, though, this doesn't feel like the endpoint of a story to me. I like it when things are reasonably wrapped up and conclusive. "Discovery disappeared into the future" is about on par with "Dr Sam Beckett never returned home" for an open-ended non-ending that's bound to piss me off.

Heh, we had people with anti-Enterprise avatars for their entire stay here. The DSC arguments are fairly tame compared to some, I think most people don't have the energy for it anymore.
That's why I steer clear of the ENT forum, because I'd be one of those haters, and I don't want to take on all 20 of the ENT fans. Ain't nobody got time for that. :nyah:

And you will be waiting forever, as I doubt there will ever be any good enough for you, IMO, based on your posts.
And I think you will like anything that the writers will put out, doubtlessly, IMO, based on your posts.

(see what I did there? There are no silly questions, everything is up for debate. Your opinions are no more or less valid than anyone else's)

"Well that's not very creative." - Saru.

FYI, if they decided to go the Orville route and revert the show back to 90s cut and paste nostalgia, I will guarantee you I will not be a happy camper, and it would drop it until I was convinced it had moved on again to something worth my time.

Here's a follow up question: Who of the people who are satisfied with this ending are going to not come back next season?

If they do that, I'm out. Period.

I already didn't come back for The Orville for the second season. If I want to watch Berman-Era Star Trek, I can go watch that any time I want. I don't need to see a recreation of it with Average Joes.
