Well its no less plausable than them making a new DS9 movie with a character from the books in it

I always thought that the picture of Vaughan on the cover of Avatar looked like an older version of Chris Sarandon.

In the Deep Space 9 novels that take place after the end of the series, Vaughan is the first officer of DS9 under Captain Kira and commander of the Defiant.

"Vaughn" always strikes me as incorrect because I'm used to seeing it spelt "Vaughan" (as in the city of Vaughan).
