Agreed, although the Klingons seem to have a civil war or a damaging coup attempt every 5 years or so. (I mean seriously, how many Great Halls have they gone though).

Still you never know give it a few decades and Cardassia may be back on its feet and Romulus will once again be whole, then we'll see who is laughing then

Well, the Vulcans and the Romulans are "sister" races maybe the Vulcans would help them out???

It would be interesting if it forced a mass migration back to Vulcan among surviving Romulans, and then reunification occurred.

I wonder what the citizenship status of such individuals would be? It would be interesting if the Vulcans wanted to grant the Romulans citizenship much sooner, but the Federation disagreed and wanted to hold out on it.
