Aside from all of the philanthropic endeavours, if money was no object, I'd utterly spoil myself.
So many things.
Money no object, I'd commission several TV/movie crossovers that I've always wanted to see. Starting with a Dr Who/Batman/Gobots adventure.
I'd also chuck money at restoration projects for lost heritage. Euston Arch, Morecambe Tower, Crystal Palace, etc I'd have replicas built of the many great trains that no body thought to save from the cutters torch.
I could give my home village the funding it needs for a proper heritage centre, with accurate displays, artifacts, and reconstructions representing life in the village over 2000 years. From the first Celt with a pig through the Romans, dark ages, civil war, industrialisation, miners strike, and social decline. Models of long lost buildings, the baths, the schools, the brick works and pit, the trams, the cinema. Mock up houses, life in the slums.
I'd need a lot of money.

I suppose the only frivolous thing I would buy would be a Jaydee Supernatural I bass guitar. I own a couple of considerably less expensive (i.e. cheap) basses, but the Jaydee was the one I saw in action that made me want to play bass in the first place.

Basses? One of Greg Lake's Alembic Scorpion basses, preferably the 8 string used in the 'Fanfare For The Common Man' video. Also a Rickenbacker 4001.

If money was no object oh heck why not I'd build a large house with many bedrooms and a games room, and a replica TARDIS console with walls in another room just because I could.... I'd donate 20 million to medical research.
