So don't read it.
No worries there. I won't. But I will post my opinion whether you agree with it or not.
I've no problems with that. Was merely making a helpful suggestion.

Boundaries? We don't need no boundaries! After all, IDW also has the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle license for crossover fodder.
Can you imagine an Xenomorph incubating in a Klingon?Aliens VS Trek ftw!

Playmates already took care of a Trek/Ninja Turtles crossover back in the nineties. Check it out
How about an Alien/8472 hybrid?Can you imagine an Xenomorph incubating in a Klingon?Aliens VS Trek ftw!Or a Jem Hadar?
(Would the Xenomorph be addicted to white?
)
I collected Playmates' Star Trek stuff in the '90s, but I just couldn't muster the will to get those. I just couldn't do it.

Said cover art:IDW are to publish a Doctor Who/Star Trek: The Next Generation crossover series. Featuring The Doctor, Rory, Amy, Captain Picard, Worf, Data, Geordie LaForge, Deanna Troy, Will Riker and the rest. And that this art, featuring the Doctor, Rory and Amy on the bridge of the Enterprise is a cover that will be used in the series.

Although it's left to the reader to recognize the creature based on the description, otherwise there would've been some scary lawyers knocking on Simon & Schuster's door...
Sounds like fun to me.Rich Johnston is reporting that the creative team is Scott and David Tipton writing and J.K. Woodward drawing. The title is Assimilation, and it will feature the Borg and the Cybermen teaming up to lay down some smack.
^ Intended double cross and assimilation at the end of it all?
