Ice Cream trucks

This is what our local ice cream truck sounds like:

It's bastardized version of Turkey in the Straw. The bastard will drive around about 3pm every DAMN DAY. And then he'll park about two houses down from me and just wait.

There are days I've wanted to take a baseball bat to his speakers, especially on days where I'm trying to work and all I think is "Do your ears hang low? Do they wobble to and fro?"

Had a Privateer ice cream truck locally, who interspaced his usual tunes with the following...

He was a crazy guy..and I haven't seen him in a couple of years...

he had a nice truck too...

I remember Good Humor trucks that looked like this:

Note the unusual cutaway cab, a feature that probably wouldn’t be legal today.

I'm jealous of everyone so far as I never heard or saw urban ice-cream van growing up :sigh: But I've encountered them in parks and at fairs and festivals, though sadly sans music. Is Mr Whippy a brand or some generic name for ice cream vans?

Eddie Murphy says it best....

I knew someone would get round to posting that clip eventually. :techman:

That was my Pavlovian response :) And the little girl scene in Carpenter's original Assault on Precinct 13...

Sounds like something Kendra the Vampire Slayer has in her apartment.
