I would have liked to have seen some closure with the Borg.

I can see it now "I am Weyoun of borg, you will disarm all your weapons, and escort us to the founders homeworld, if you attempt to intervene, we will destroy you"

There was a Weyoun of Borg playing card for a Star Trek card game. That card was awesome. Woulda been great to see Weyoun of Borg on-screen.:techman:

Sisko got closure by letting go of his hatred of Picard. He moved on. He did not need to confront the Borg to do so.

The Borg isn't what DS9 was about anyway. I would have rather seen closure with Bajor joining the Federation. That was more important to the series.

They'd have had a hard time assimilating the founders tho..
I wonder how a founder would be assimilated. They're goo!

It just occured to me...if they did manage to assimilate one, turn her/him into a Locutis like deal, woudl't she/he be able to order the jemhadar to surrender?
I'd imagine if one founder was assimilated, the others would order the Jem Hadar to continue fighting

If they were all assimilated, I assume they would just kill themselves as they had failed their Gods

I feel that it wouldn´t even fit thematically. Borg are too mechanistic and emotionless. It would probably be strange to see them in series which was a lot about various kinds of emotionality and evil being represented trough totalitarianism in the sense as we know it. Borg version of totalitarianism can´t be analysed properly when there are no real individuals who can suffer and protest. They founded their place in hard sci-fi of TNG and action flick of Voyager but DS9 shouldn´t have touch them.

The Borg aren't a traditional enemy. Avenging yourself on the Borg would be like avenging yourself on an earthquake.

It's not Sisko's feelings for the Borg that need closure; it's his feelings for Jennifer. (as said previously!)

I take this argument, the prophets did give him closure, he wasn't one to go on a vendetta

It could have been cool if the prophets would have appeared as Borg when he was talking to them but other than that it was nice not to have the Borg in at least one series

Besides, this is Star Trek. It's not about holding grudges and getting revenge on people, even the Borg.
That is what is wrong with Star Trek.

My Mars is in Scorpio, Vengence Forever!

I think DS9 was fine without the Borg. How do you have just a little bit of Borg?
